Passover Shabbat
April 3rd, 2026 / 8 pm / New York
This Passover, we gathered in New York for an intimate Shabbat—bringing together members of the Project Activate community alongside new faces joining for the first time.
Held in a unique, art-filled space that felt like a pause in the journey, the evening reflected the spirit of this moment: standing between Exodus and arrival, in the desert’s in-between space. A time not of certainty, but of transition, questioning, and becoming.

This year, Passover carries a different weight. In the aftermath of October 7, in a world still marked by conflict and uncertainty, the story of moving from slavery to freedom feels less historical and more immediate something we are actively living through.
Around the table, we shared a meal, stories, and conversation—guided by questions and reflections on freedom, responsibility, and what it means to show up in this moment. Old connections deepened, new ones formed, and a sense of peoplehood—of belonging to something larger—took shape in a very real way.
Project Activate continues to create spaces like this, where individuals come together not only to reflect but also to connect, to engage, and to begin shaping what comes next.
